Commissioning Management
EBC provides independent Commissioning Managers, Engineers and Technicians who integrate into project teams to deliver safe building services and systems, providing the following services:
- Review design drawings and specifications for commissioning requirements and advise.
- Review and supervise the installation with respect to specifications and OPR.
- Preparation of Commissioning Schedule.
- Certifying readiness of systems, subsystems, equipment, and associated controls for testing.
- Convenient team meetings/workshops for the purpose of coordination, communication and conflict resolution.
- Monitor and witness progressive installation and pre-commissioning ensuring accurate recording of all results, in accordance with method statements, including installation checklists.
- Commissioning process and witnessing Functional Performance Test (FPT) for all systems, assemblies, equipment, and components.
- Witnessing all site testing and verification of actual testing measurements.
- All operating modes, interlocks, control responses and responses to abnormal or emergency conditions.
- Functionality of MEP systems together, in particular the technical interfaces between the different primary MEP systems.
- Monitor and advise on the preparation of the O & M’s.
- Commissioning Documentation, test data, inspection reports, and certificates.
Testing, Adjusting and Balancing
We provide total service for testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems. These works are delivered with qualified Engineers who operate in accordance with NEBB, ASHRAE and AABC codes of practice. Our Engineers adjust and balance system components to ensure compliance of design and compliance with owner operational requirements. In order to meet Testing and Balancing requirements EBC operatives work closely with the Building Services Installation Contractor, identifying potential installation problems and recommending solutions. This proactive approach reduces potential down time for the client.
Providing the following services:
- Measure total airflow on all A/C and exhaust systems.
- Balance airflow on each supply and exhaust grille.
- Measure volts, amps, statics, RPM’s, temperatures, and set minimum outside air requirements for all A/C units.
- Balance chilled water system including all pumps, cooling towers, chillers, boilers, and air handling unit coils.
- Sound and vibration Measurements.

Cleanrooms
EBC-International provides qualifications and testing services for cleanrooms made by well trained and experienced staff in cleanroom testing and validations.
Cleanroom testing and certification services are executed in accordance with EBC standard operating procedures (SOPs) which are updated to remain compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs), International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Cleanroom test protocols and report documentation can be customized to customer specifications.
We provide the following services:
Primary cleanroom tests including:
- Airflow volume/velocity Flow Measurements and Uniformity Tests.
- Temperature and humidity monitoring.
- Room pressurization monitoring.
- HEPA filter integrity testing.
- Airborne Particle Count Cleanliness Classification Tests.
Optional tests including:
- Airflow Parallelism Tests.
- Air Change Rate (ACH) Test.
- Recovery Tests.
- Lighting Level and Uniformity Tests.
